I have to say that I am always in awesome of the pictures that Emily paints with her words like an artist creating a masterpiece. Each word seems to resonate so much and each word you feel is heart felt and shows us a little bit each time of the benevolent soul that this emanates from. The images of memories of someone loved and lost and the sadness and pain that is often left behind makes this poem like many others of Emily’s one of my faves. She has a unique talent for incitefulness and a deep understanding of love, feelings and emotions as shown in this poem. Emily is a true wordsmith of much talent.her recitals on you tube is especially worth checking out. Awesome stuff keep up the good work Em. Life can be such a harsh mistress at times and it is always good to read such a wonderful poem and know others out there share how we feel.
