Politics choose to ignore science fact

Put their own spin on climate change

And the way society reacts,

We put too much faith 

In their uninformed thoughts

Or the fact they twist the truth,

For their own gains,

For power and greed,

They will say anything

And just like atoms

Politicians make up everything,

We deserve the truth,

Without their spin,

We need to know the state

Our world is truly in,

Beaches and seas covered in plastic

Choking our world with our trash it’s drastic

And time is running out

And we need to make a change,

Using scientific facts it may not be to late,

But we need to stop putting any stock

In the things that politicians says

Because for them, it’s all about the profits

The shares and the stocks,

Break out of your apathy,

Break free from the flock,

Stand up for the environment,

Stand up for the earth,

For it’s our only home,

And of everything that matters this is of greatest worth.
