It seems sometimes there is a psychological imperative,

Within society to take what they can and never give

And people  fill their lives with material shit,

Like when you buy a house and new car you are defining it,

And all this comes at the cost of your spiritual self,

Unconcerned about societies health

And then say you’re just playing with the cards life dealt.

Have we lost sight of how to care,

Do we not know what it is to share,

Why does it take tragedy to unite us all together,

Why is our love and compassion so fairweather,

We are better than this and we need to do more,

We need to stop the violence and the greedy hoardes,

Who benefit from misery in our society,

Who encourage hate, jealousy and greed,

And base life around only what we need

Not continually wanting everything,

This desire to have it all is not good for the soul,

You learn this more as you get old

But by then the damage is done,

We must focus on the peace man, focus on the love,

Can’t you understand that this is more than enough

And if we live this way thing will only get better

So fight for unconditional love come whatever.
