They expect me to crash and burn
They believe this because I spurned,
Their ideas of society
I broke free from being a sheep.
They expected that I would fail
Said that I was living beyond the pale,
Because I rebuffed their domesticated ways
They said that I would rue this in future days
But I know just who I am
And I know just what I need,
That’s to live in love
And compassion and peace
And if you say this a utopian dream,
Then that ok by me
But this is my belief
And I won’t change it because you don’t agree,
For I have strong enough faith in me.
