Peculiar as it seems

Peculiar is as peculiar does

When studied closely as one must,

When seen through the monocle of one eye

Peculiar things do I a spy,

With my little eye looking through time

A witness to a peculiar rise in unusual tides,

Of the unconscious mind

That may as well be blind,

To the integral signs that we tend to find

In the day to day grind of banality divine,

When effortlessly flowing through the stream of the beguiled

And the river Styx which we are betwixed

And often attached and so transfixed,

In the perculiar vision and the vaguest dreams,

Perculiar is not as it always seems.
