Knowing nothing of love

We know nothing of love

When we accept abuse within it,

Love only knows light and compassion,

It thrives on respect as well as protection,

There is no sense when somebody says that they love you

And yet breaks your heart or abuses you

If someone loves you they will never hurt you it’s true
