Untouchable

Dissemination of hateful hearts

Recriminations from cruel words

Self destruction of the soul

The lack of kindness leaves me cold

But I doesn’t touch those borne of self belief

Doesn’t chill the warmth warmth within me

Causes no self doubt or guilt with

I am happy with the way I am living

Spent my life working all the hours

For a pittance of pay as filtered down by those in power

Suffered severe loss of family

But remain strong so no criticism hurts me

I’ve been to hurt, to wounded by life

So I cannot be made to feel like my love

For poetry and blogging is wrong

So I will continue to soldier on

In the moments I grasp between hardship, work and life

And enjoy spreading messages of love and light.

  1. My parents taught me when you do what you are passionate about doing and it’s making a difference, that’s happiness and true living. Looks like you’re doing what you’re passionate about and it’s definitely making a difference in people’s lives. Keep doing what you’re doing and don’t let anyone tell you that it’s a waste of time, my friend. Excellent words of encouragement in this post! πŸ™‚
