We see what’s outside but seldom within
We turn a blind eye to our conscious wisdom
Choosing instead to be led and be fed
That’s why causes creativity to end
We are the authors and directors of our lives
Yet we abdicate responsibilty and hide
Our light under a bushel so no one can see
The great and the good that we can be.
