Down under the surface
Below the water table,
Through earths layers
That has permeated over time,
Down into the molten lava
In the engine room of nature
That’s where you’ll find,
How life on earth is defined
And throughout it’s existence
Nature has nurtured and been kind,
But if you look very closely
You will read and see the signs,
One day they’ll be a volcanic eruption
That will blow all our minds,
And bring about the prophesied
The end of all our mankind,
But we will not acknowledge it
For through our greed we’re blind,
On when this time comes sadly
Our species like many others
Will simply die,
In the pyroclastic blast
And the molten lava rivers
That will flow destroying life.
