He did not appreciate the gifts she had
she had so much to offer but he made her sad
she could have gone along with this
but she knew she deserved better and so exited
walked away with head held high
and even with those tears in her eyes
and a heart so heavy with the weight of love
she knew she had to say ‘enough’s, enough’.
And as she walked away with dignity intact
she knew she could never go back,
and now a new life is unfolding
unsure, uncertain, be she keeps holding,
onto the fact that she is amazing
because she was strong and life not fazing
her in any shape or form,
because her very heart was torn,
to shreds by someone who she thought showed love
but never gave her quite enough
but shared it round with everyone else
and left her shitting on the shelf.
But she showed that she was strong
and as she walks out into the throng
of other people searching for new lives singning new songs,
all hoping to find new love and better times
she is well equipped to see this through
for she is awesome and renewed.
