There are times where darkness overwhelms
days where heartache never seems to end
days of thunder
days of rain
days that we think will never be the same
but to banish the darkness you can shine your light
you can rise up
and you can fly
you make a difference in this life
you can be the example of divinity and right
highlighting all of life’s wrongs
stand out as individual amongst the throng
Of all the sheep who just follow the crowd
stand up strong and stand up proud
for you are the love and you are the grace
and this is something no one can take away
for you are the bliss and you are the peace
For you have awoken from your sleep.
