‘Forever young I want to be forever young’
I sink into melancholy thoughts of a past and youthful days
Then I suddenly remember I am from an ancient soul of an eternal age
Forever young I may not be and die I one day must
But I am eternal energy and unconditional love
And though I may never pass this way the same
As who i am right now my friend I will be back one day.
When we were young everything we saw was magical
But when we’re old we take for granted all of this and more.
I want to view this life with magical delight
I want to spread my wings and take flight.
So this is why I will not worry but simply reside
that moment when the time comes for me to die.
