Your life, the ruse

The compulsion to lie for some is strong
Ingrained within them though they know it’s wrong
But they still do this to achieve their own ends
They lie to family and lie to friends.
I have not been immune to this
went through a stage and I am not proud of it
It always catches up with you in the end
And since those days I have tried to make amends.
So it is sad when I see others around me doing the same
Or buying into that deceitful game
For I know how hard it is to be forgiven
Because people tend after not to listen
For they only expect lies to come out
Always they will cast a doubt
Over your the credibility of things coming out of your mouth.
So be aware that deceit is for fools
Think your being clever but your life is a ruse
And people will always see through you
So be authentic and real be honest and true
Because in the end lies will always come back on you
If you believe nothing else I say, believe this to be true.
