Life is one long learning curve
And sometimes we need to swerve
From the road,
that we are on because we know it’s wrong and if we are awake we will know.
Life should be like our beliefs
Fluid like water and changeable like the wind
For when we think we know it all
That’s when we find out we know nothing at all.
We were not put here by our gods to accept life then give it all up
Because we not sure what’s
And hand it over to others to lead
We were given life to be unique.
Many live life without question then ask those questions on their deathbed
Like why did I never achieve much
Why did I never experience love
It’s because they gave their power away
took no responsibility for it forgot to live the day.
So understand that nothing stays the same
And we have review and consider everything we do and say
Because life goes in ebbs and flows
Up’s and downs, it comes and goes
In waves tumultuous but then calm
Sometimes we will suffer pain and harm
And there will be challenges to overcome
And it will test us but when all is done
We should arrive at the grave panting and sweating from being brave
To live it in each moment the best that we can
Taking our own life in our own hands
And accepting that we lived it on our own terms
This should be the life we all yearn.
