A complex mix of of colours and creeds
So many people living in need.
So many fear based systems try to rule our lives
All seeking to deprive us of our rights.
Belief structures so judgemental
Dividing us in ways that are incremental.
Genderfication and homophobic hate
Terrorists trying to enforce on us a state
That we don’t want and we don’t need
I will always object against those who seek to cause others to bleed.
Not looking for a world brought about by violent aims
Or one brought about by political war games
Where both sides collude in the shadows of life
Secret deals struck that cost innocent lives.
Murderous people fueled by blood lust
For the wealth and power they desire then fear is a real must.
Oppressing us all in so many ways
Using their tools like the xenophobic play
Where rallying patriotic fervour wins the day.
Singing anthems and waving flags
Life never seems so bad
Sacrificing your life for those
Who would never do the same for you, you know.
Despite that fact you know this truth
Based on historic proof
You still comply to this sheep like life
Even though deep down you know it’s not right.
So heed this poem and decide on change
And fight for a world where love is the desired aim
And throw the fear and hate away.
