My mind is swirling like a vortex
A tornado in full force
Flashing images of past lives
On a collision course.
As they flash past in front of me
Too fast to be seen
I wish that I could see them all
These past life memories.
I would like to slow the kaleidoscope
And slow down time itself
To take the time to experience
The truth of my past self.
Then as the vortex spins I feel
I am cresting the very peak
Before falling down again
All the way beneath,
The swirling gyroscopic funnel
Of which I bounced around
Off the soft walls of energy
But suspended from the ground,
Before being ejected
In darkness and no sound.
I find myself back in my bed
Waking from this dream
And I think of those dreams and images
In the darkness wistfully.
