Do we scrutinise too much
And think things through too deeply
Do we act and care too much
Maybe we should take life more easy.
Should we worry about sexism
When women seem more sexualised
Should we worry about racism
When acting black is the new white.
Should we worry about corruption
When everybody is on the make
Should we worry about being authentic
When everybody is acting fake.
Should we worry about terrorism
When it’s being funded by us
She we worry about starvation
In an obese society that does not give a fuck.
Well the answer to this question is of course we fucking should
Or we may sink into the mire or get lost in the darkest wood
Of moral and ethical debasity and would end up as bad as them
This is not the way to become enlightened enough to transcend
These degenerating movements happening within society
And leaves them bound in chains but with the illusion they are free.
So like I said we should all worry for society is going down the drain
Because people have forgotten how to use their brains.
They’ve switched it off and let the media take over full control
And numbed them to real issues and poisoned they’re very souls.
