Because we care

We choose to share

The love and compassion 

With those out there

Who feel the same

To unify

To spread our wings

So we can fly

In spiritual flight

On divine light

Spreading a message of peace

Fighting the good fight.

Flying down low 

through the fog of war

Trying to show others

Trying to implore

That this is not the only way

Just open your eyes

There is so much more I prey.

Helping the starving

By sharing our food

Giving shelter to the homeless

For their own good

Embrace my brothers and sisters

Of different creeds

Your colour means no difference to me

For we are of one race

And we are all one

So put aside all the violence

The bombs and the guns.

I am not worried about your belief

Religious or political

Your choice because your free

These issues have nothing

To do with me. 

For what makes being human

A wonderful thing

Is the differing thoughts

And diversity

That stops life from stagnating 

Keeps it vibrant and alive

And shows the potential 

within our own minds.

And with an open mind

And an open soul

And an open heart

Then spiritually we know

That we can still turn this world of fear round

And one day be witness

To love as it abounds

And sees a new age

And a new life

And age for sure

Preach a message of peace

And compassion for all.
