Life and those around us eat away at who we are. We try to be authentic but they disguise who they are. They wear masks that say we are family. They wear masks that say their friends. But when you are not focused they eat away at you again. They feast upon your ideas. They feast upon your dreams. They feast upon your hopes and faiths. They feast upon your being. By the time your old and grey there is not too much left. Just the carcasses of who we are and very little breath.
